Summer barbeque in the garden

Image
On Sunday July 18, a barbeque was held in the garden. From all reports it was a great time and enjoyed by many. The bulk of the work and cooking was done by these ladies, Marilyn, Gail and Mary. Also thank you to everyone who helped but I didn't get to take their photo 😀 The function was very attended. It was obvious that many people were anxious to get out and meet with others as evident in the following photos.

Summertime and the Living is Easy

Well it has finally been warm for more than one day. The results are very obvious in the garden. If you have not been down, drop by and see..... If you recall, the last time I had posted the work that was being completed at the front of the building, well it has now been completed and here is the last part finished.... I am also showing the garden that Mary has been working on, creating a "quiet space"....while it may not be completed yet, but here is a look at all of the colours  that are becoming visible. Finally a flower bed that is part of the community garden that is becoming very colourful

Well it's finally becoming warmer and as a result the gardens are growing and doing well..... Right now it is green everywhere and things are growing and blossoms are appearing! With the restrictions with the virus, please respect the restrictions which are in place. If in doubt just ask Dale or Don as they are usually always around. We want everyone to remain safe

The Gardens at Rockview Towers

Gardens that are being completed at the front of the building. Not all gardens are in the community gardens at the rear of the building.  The garden work being completed at the front of the building I would best describe as bull work. It is hard and hot work. Here you can see Sue, Alex, Don, Ed, and Dale working hard. Here you see Alex, Sue and Dale working. When this is completed, it will look amazing and kudos to the people involved for the design of these gardens Some of the gardens that are completed. So keep an eye as you come and go as these gardens are a work in progress. Another garden that is being developed is along the north side of the building. This garden is being developed by Mary and her hope is to have a Tranquility Garden and from she has completed so far, it will be a great place to sit and read, or just sit! It will be an enchanted place..... Some colourful flowers that are on the north side of the building.
